Welcome to Sydney International School (SIS), Dhaka. We are a co-educational international English medium school located in the safest area of Gulshan 2, close to the diplomatic zone of Dhaka city. We have students from different countries which gives our local students the opportunity to learn other cultures and develop skills to overcome differences towards shared goals. A beautiful, modern, and newly built scenic with the surroundings of Justice Shahbuddin Park situated opposite side of the school. SIS students often use this park for outside activities with the supervision of teaching staff. SIS also has a well-equipped playground inside the school boundary. Our campus also features a spacious playground for students to enjoy outdoor activities for their mental refreshment and enhanced learning experience. Established in January 2012, our founding Principal; Mr. Robert John Thompson from Australia has a B.A. in Economics, a B.Ed. in Curriculum Theory and Design, and a Diploma of Social Science in Sociology. He brought with him over 21 years’ experience in teaching and research activities in Australia, Indonesia, and Papua-New Guinea. SIS’s founding Principal has done an outstanding job of establishing a modern institution which uses an Australian activity-based learning with Cambridge Curriculum (Cambridge assessment international education associate school), committed to providing a high standard of international education and serving students from nationalities around the world and fostering a multi-cultural and diverse community that includes teachers as well as parents since 2012.

We are offering comprehensive education from play groups to O’ level.
